Whatever happened to Stirling Print-All the story of a business phoenix, the transition to Stirling Print Solutions.
In a time when the City of Hamilton seems to be losing ground during these poor economic times there are some uplifting signs.
Two and a half years ago a business that was a vital part of the both the community and the Hamilton business scene for almost 40 years was virtually down and out, (due to changing times and health issues), when the Rodgers family and Print Solutions bought up the assets and the name. The name being a key part of the acquisition as it had stood for quality and service for many years. Not as well recognized as the previous owners but every bit as successful in business having also been around for some forty years. The Rodgers along with Cory McCarthy began to quietly rebuild what was once a dominant business around nothing more than a name. Knowing the reputation of the old company and the skills and knowledge their staff had they went about what they do very well building an even better and stronger company, slowly bringing back some of the key elements of the past, elements that had played key roles in the development and growth of the old company.
First they made sure they were able to keep the key technology people (Ian Hoyle and Todd Bullock), to allow them to build and grow around the modern technology and equipment, (equipment which they quickly upgraded). This allowed them to re-establish the business and regain a good portion of the business that had slowly moved elsewhere over the last few years of the original company's existence. Last fall they added two more key elements an old member of the sales team (Jim Stahl) and Ron Wilkie the original driving force behind the technology. Both of these people are now working closely with the clients and the client base re-establishing old relationships and building new ones. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, in print, design, digital media, and marketing.
Through all of the world economic issues, changes and additions the company has been blessed with nothing but positives, restoring a once proud and vital part of the community from the ashes in two and a half years.
We are still growing and want the company to be bigger than it ever was says Trevor Rodgers the company's Vice President and to help in that continued growth we have added yet another key element of the past. The latest returning member also brings the name that was synonymous with the company. Stirling Print Solutions is proud to announce the return of William (Bill) Stirling to the team. Bill is looking forward to working with his former team mates Ian Hoyle, Todd Bullock, Jim Stahl and Ron Wilkie as well as the Print Solutions team members, to fully restore the Stirling name in the business community.
